Why this exists

Many keyboard testers turn a few browser events into confident hardware verdicts. That is convenient, but it is not always accurate. Browsers sit behind the keyboard firmware, operating system, accessibility software, and browser shortcut handling.

Keyboard Check Lab reports the event stream it can actually observe. It helps you reproduce problems, compare environments, and collect useful evidence before contacting support or replacing hardware.

How it is funded

Keyboard Check Lab is currently an ad-free validation project. If advertising is introduced later, it will be clearly separated from controls and will not influence diagnostic results.

Editorial standard

Explanations are written for practical troubleshooting and reviewed against browser behavior. Corrections and reproducible edge cases are welcome through the contact page.
